The Deep Learning Workshop is a pre-conference event of the 5th Swiss Conference on Data Science – SDS|2018. It will take place on Wednesday, June 6, 2018at GS1 Schweiz, Monbijoustrasse 68 in Bern.

Deep Learning methods have shown significant success in tackling some of the major long-standing challenges in Machine Learning. Particular applications to Image Analysis, Speech Recognition, Natural Language Processing and many others demonstrate the important advances in this field.

In this workshop, we review some of the major trends, with a focus on applications that are becoming viable for the industry.

We are happy to announce the 4th Swiss Conference on Data Science (SDS|2017) in continuation of what has successfully started with the past events.

SDS|2017 will take place on the 16th of June 2017 at the Kursaal in Bern.

Silicon Valais 2017

Am kommenden 15. September organisiert der Studiengang Wirtschaftsinformatik derHES-SO Wallis im Technopôle in Siders die 4. Auflage des Silicon Valais Events. Die diesjährige Veranstaltung wird sich mit BIG DATA, einer der grössten gegenwärtigen Herausforderungen im Informatikbereich, befassen.

Die Datenexplosion in Kombination mit den modernsten Technologien (Datenspeicherung und -bearbeitung, Data Mining, künstliche Intelligenz usw.) führt zu innovativen Anwendungen in so unterschiedlichen Bereichen wie Medizin, Energie, Sicherheit, Business und Politik. Da diese Revolution uns alle betrifft, möchte der Studiengang Wirtschaftsinformatik mit diesem Event allen interessierten Personen die Gelegenheit bieten, sich damit zu befassen.
